The Trip at a Glance
Trip arc
Yinian lands at FCO from IAD around 13:15 on June 11; you arrive ~2 hours later via Munich. Four nights in Vaticano Prati cover two Vatican experiences and a private day with Leo (including the rarely-open Galleria Colonna). A Caserta day trip breaks up the Rome week before a scenic private transfer to Florence via Civita di Bagnoregio and Siena. Four Florence nights cover Uffizi, the David at Accademia, San Marco, and a free day to roam (or hop to Pitti/Boboli on the Passepartout). A private transfer back to Rome with an Assisi stop reopens the second Rome chapter — a Tivoli day with Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa is your last full day. Jun 21 is departure morning: Yinian on UA 885 at 10:20, you on LH1867 at 10:50, both from FCO.
Things still to resolve
- Borghese ticket on Jun 21 09:00–11:00 conflicts with both your morning flights. Try to exchange the date with Galleria Borghese (they rarely allow it, but worth asking) — otherwise accept the €40 as sunk cost.
- Confirm Leo's start time and meeting point for June 13.
- Pre-arrange FCO transfer for the Jun 21 morning departure — both flights are within 30 min of each other; share a car.
- Add Le Méridien cost to the cost-split once known (placeholder rows are in there as €0 TBC).
- Vatican: arrive 30 min before each tour on Jun 12, bring photo ID for both of you.
- Accademia: your 72h pass slot is 15:00–15:15 on June 16 — hard activation window.
- Print or screenshot every ticket — most checkpoints accept phone but Italy can be finicky.
